Winter Middle School ELA Digital Escape Room | Distance Learning

Middle School students grades 5-8 will love this winter and snowman themed digital breakout escape room! It's perfect for those winter months when you need high-engagement ELA activities.

Students are engaged in a fun and challenging set of activities as they collect codes to break the lock! Activities include revising and editing, identifying easily confused vocabulary words, and correctly sorting sentences, fragments, and run-ons.

In this digital breakout, students use skills to infer and draw conclusions from the clues to help them break the locks and free McFrost from his snow globe. This digital escape room can be used for asynchronous learning, small groups, or in centers and stations.

The resource is appropriate for grades 5-8 and requires Internet access, Google student accounts, and student devices such as laptops, Chromebooks, desktops, tablets, etc. Includes escape room link, teacher instruction pages, student handouts, and answer keys.
