What educators are saying
Description
Your students will love practicing their factors with this super engaging, festive foldable ornament! First students fill out the factor pairs of the numbers on the ornaments, and write whether the number is prime or composite. Then they fold it, either using the video instructions or the printable pdf instructions.
It comes with 12 ornaments, video instructions (a 7 minute video and a super speed 3 minute video) that you can play so kids know how to fold it. It also comes with printable folding directions. The videos are linked in the document, so you just click and you can play them.
The ornaments are differentiated - they start easy and get harder. This makes it super easy for you to personalize learning and choose which ones to assign. It also comes with a blank factor version, so you can write in your own numbers or let kids choose their own numbers. This does wonders for engagement!
Each ornament has 4 numbers. For each number, the student will write out the factors, say whether it is prime or composite, and write how many factors it has and how many factor pairs. Then decorate, fold, and enjoy!
BONUS - you also get a completely blank template. This alone is a best seller because it is SO versatile. You can print the template and write in your own questions for ANY subject at all, then run it through the copier. It would be great for literacy comprehension, book reports, math problems; the possibilities are endless! You can use it for years and years.
This foldable is really fun and cute. It can be colored as an ornament for the holidays but it can also be used year-round as a hanging foldable!
