William Shakespeare Character Activity using Astrology - For Any Play

This is a great activity for analyzing the characters in any of William Shakespeare's plays. Included is an astrology packet comparing the descriptions of the zodiac signs in Shakespeare's time to modern day descriptions.

This activity can be printed, used digitally, or a combination of the two. The resource includes a print ready PDF as well as Google Drive versions (Docs, Slides, Forms, etc.) of all of the materials.

First, use a scavenger hunt to familiarize students with the character traits listed within each zodiac sign. Then have students choose zodiac signs for the main characters in the play. Students must provide at least two adjectives from the description of the signs that fit the character and two pieces of evidence to support their choice.
