Description

I designed a digital version of this paper to help my students transition from the Primary Handwriting Paper used to teach kids to write to the traditional wide ruled.

I found that many students - in particular our special needs students- would fill the entire with a big letters and disregard where the middle hump should be. They couldn't envision it on their own - their little minds still need it! And I just couldn't find what I wanted anywhere.

I am offering this one sided template for free. I like to print it on a colored copier and even hole punch it afterwards. At a glance, the child does not appear to have anything different from others in the regular ed classrooms.

If you like that look and want to even go further and print it double sided. I will soon be uploading a version that can be printed in that manner. Be sure to look for it.

Regardless of how you decide to use it (color or b&w), I hope it benefits you special ed children like it has mine!
