Where in the World Am I? A Multi-Fold Book to Practice Map Skills (USA Version)

In this activity, students will create a six-page book with pages that flip up to reveal the city, state, country, continent, and planet where they live. The file contains complete illustrated instructions on how to put the books together, and how to complete the activity with your students, six pages to print back-to-back to create the books, a blackline of a generic city map, blackline pictures of all 50 states in the United States, a blackline picture of the entire United States, a blackline picture of the continent of North America, and a blackline picture of Earth. Students will color the pictures, glue them in their books, and add text to create their own flip-up book.
