Description

Let kids care for the planet's biodiversity with the "Harvest at Home" challenge! Children will identify where certain fruits or vegetables grow (underground, on the ground, on a tree or underwater), identify fruits or vegetables that grow in each season, name three things fruits and vegetables need in order to grow and understand the reasons for buying local, in-season, fresh foods.

Subjects tackled through activities includes science and language proficiency.

The "Harvest at Home" consists two lessons, six posters, two homework sheets and two coloring sheets.
