Description

Overview of the two major Political Parties in U.S. Before students can understand U.S. Politics, they need to first learn about political parties. Designed for students with limited knowledge of the history of America’s two party system and the ideologies which differentiate Republicans and Democrats, the informational text, vocabulary, writing, and interactive activities in this unit can be used by ELA, civics, or social studies teachers. The unit is designed for general/special education upper elementary to middle school students or intermediate to advanced level English Language Learners in grades 4 through adult.
