Description

This is a cumulative 36-week product that continually builds on prior lessons taught. Ready to use from the first week of school. Product includes engaging Power Point presentations, Weekly Review presentations, Weekly Tests, Cumulative Tests, Handouts, and Certificates.

What is included?

I. An introductory 27-slide Power Point that gives students an overview / explanation as to why Greek and Latin roots are so prevalent in the modern English language

II. Exactly 132 Greek & Latin roots that have been grouped into 22 themes to be presented over the course of 33 weeks / whole school year. (Total lessons for 3 trimesters)

III. Each trimester includes the following:

a) 11 - Weekly Power Points (Each weekly Power Point includes):

• Weekly theme with 4 new Greek & Latin roots

• Root definition

• Root word origin

• 2 vocabulary words & definitions using the respective root word

• 2 other vocabulary examples of the respective root word

b) 11 – Weekly Tests

c) 11 – Answer Keys for Weekly Tests

d) 11 – Weekly handouts for students to record root word information by theme

e) 11 – Power Points that review weekly Greek and Latin themes
