How I use this in my classroom…
Every Monday morning my students have a new goal setting sheet on their desk and complete the left side for morning work. They choose one academic, thinking/working, and friendship goal (listed on the second page) to work on for the week and record it on the left side. At the end of each day when we are packing up, students reflect on their day and whether or not they tried to achieve their goals. This paper stays in their homework folder all week, so parents can also review and reflect with their children. At the end of the week, I collect everyone’s sheet to add to their student files.
