Description
Simulate a webinar with planning, organizing, and conducting a web video-conference with your class. In this activity students will work in small groups to research a topic, create a webinar invitation, write a script, create a meeting agenda, and conduct a webinar. This project is perfect for a Business Communication or International Business course!
This project can be adapted if you do not have access to an audio recording or video-conference software.
Included in this product:
- Webinar Simulation Project Instructions (PDF)
- Webinar Simulation Teacher Guide (PDF)
- Basic Grading Rubric based on 90 points (PDF)
The Teacher Guide contains 40 different webinar topic suggestions (20 business-related and 20 non-business related topics).
Logistically, the best way to execute the webinars is by sending the group presenting to another room while you remain in the classroom with the remaining students. To execute the video conferencing option, you will need 2 devices with camera and audio capabilities. If this is not possible, you can alter the activity to accommodate your needs.
Ways to hold the webinar:
- Simulate a webinar using a video conferencing technology
- Use an audio recording tool via smartphone
- Present orally to the class without recording
- Eliminate the actual webinar simulation and only grade the supporting documents
Save $$$ by purchasing this product as part of the Business Communication Activity Bundle.
