Description

Looking for a fun, engaging resource for writing and evaluating expressions? This math puzzle is sure to be a hit!

To solve the puzzle, students will first write 15 expressions based on a math sentence. They will then need to evaluate their expression give x=2 to find out what letter to use and where to place it. The puzzle is two-part to eliminate guessing and to add rigor. This puzzle would be great for early finishers, test review, informal assessment, or to leave for a substitute!
