Description

Want a no-prep vocabulary system to help students learn a mix of self-chosen and teacher-chosen words?

Use this flipbook to differentiate to students, helping them build custom (and assigned) word lists. This flipbook has space for them to learn 70 words (but, you can add more flaps or assign the flipbook more than once, such as quarterly or each semester).

Use the booklet in any of these ways:
• As a gift for students to use independently
• As a structured set of 8 word lists that you can teach and learn together, such as with mini-lessons
• As a differentiation tool, only doing direct instruction on the flaps that are needed

The eight tabs are: my favorite words, my frequently misspelled words, my personal list to learn, future academic or career words, words all students should know*, assigned words to learn for class, writing practice, and chart my progress. (*This category has pre-chosen, test prep friendly words like “analyze” and “refute”.)

Assembly is quick and easy – you only need scissors, a stapler, and five minutes!

This 11-page download includes…
• Flipbook
• Tips for Teachers page
• Online Flashcards: Access to over 214 words in my Quizlet sets! These can help you (or students) choose the words to put into their flipbooks!
• Bonus: BOTH the editable version AND the ready-to-print PDF are included!

WAIT! This product is included in my Vocabulary Epic Bundle for Secondary ELA! Check it out to save on ALL of my current and future vocabulary tools!
