A PowerPoint designed to help teach visualizing (visualising) to students.

Includes a learning objective and three success criteria so that students are aware of the goals of the lesson. Explains what visualizing (visualising) is and why we visualize (visualise). The PowerPoint includes basic, step-by-step instructions on how to create images using the descriptions in the text. There are several opportunities for students to practice visualizing (visualising) either independently or during a class discussion. There is a slide to provide students with a range of sentence starters (prompts) to help them get started with visualizing (visualising).

US spelling and UK spelling versions are included in this download. Simply unzip the file and select the version that you require.
