Visualizing Activities Reading Skills BUNDLE

This is a BUNDLE of reading activities to encourage students to visualize as they read, to increase their comprehension. The tasks involve students visualizing and verbalizing their ideas: connecting with the images, and higher order thinking, without the stress of de-coding.

What's included? There are 320 task cards: 8 for each of these skills, in each set:

Because I've used images in half of the tasks, students don't need to decode too much text, and can concentrate on thinking skills.

The resource includes differentiated learning and reading comprehension activities, using images and visual clues as the text. I find the images capture students' interest and they naturally begin to engage and discuss and predict what's happening.

Printed and laminated, they are a great resource to add to your literacy centres.

There is a file with US spelling and Australian spelling: print which ever.
