Virginia SOL Science Reading Passages for Fifth Grade

This is a comprehensive workbook of 100+ pages that integrates reading and science content directly from Virginia's Standards of Learning for fifth grade. For each essential skill in the science standards, there are two passages; one passage without keywords bolded and one passage with the keywords bolded to meet the needs of your students. There are six questions that correspond to the passages; three questions address reading comprehension skills, three questions address science application. Reading comprehension questions use question stems directly from the updated SOL test. Additionally, there is a daily review question attached to each passage to use for modeling. All questions have the correlated SOLs attached to them. Answer keys are provided.
