Video to Introduce Internet Safety

This is a 6-minute video minilesson I created as a fun way to introduce Internet safety to students. Animoto and Windows Movie Maker were the two programs I used to make the video--which has two parts:

1. An excitement building, futuristic-looking intro

2. A comic-strip character explaining ways properly use the Internet

Technology is everywhere and our children need to be educated about proper etiquette and safety.

Topics mentioned on this six-minute video are:

-Never giving out personal information such as phone number, address, picture

-Thinking about your words, before putting them online for everyone to see--because nothing is private

-Thinking about your actions (such as posting pictures of yourself or others online)
