Video Production Scope & Sequence 2nd 9 Weeks

    Description

Keep your video students creating while you stay calm with this no-prep complete 2nd 9 Weeks curriculum bundle. It works seamlessly as a follow-up to this Video Production Curriculum Bundle for 1st 9 Weeks and leads you straight into Video Production Curriculum Bundle for 3rd 9 Weeks and Video Production Curriculum Bundle for 4th 9 Weeks! That's an entire SCHOOL YEAR planned out for you:)

Whether you're new to teaching Video Production or looking to freshen up your course with new, engaging projects, this bundle will take the planning stress off you and connect students with fun and challenging projects that build on their camera/editing skills.

This is an excellent stand-alone resource or could be used to refresh or supplement an existing curriculum that you have. The creative, comprehensive resources are ready-to-go to help you teach video/film production for a full 9 weeks.

The short activities include a detailed project guide for students and editable, Compass-aligned lesson plans for the instructor. The full units that last 3+ days include a presentation (multiple format options), detailed lesson plans, student project guides/resources, and all supplemental materials (shot lists, storyboards, rubrics, peer evaluations, etc.).

This bundle is perfect for teachers whose classrooms center on Project-Based Learning. There are no tests in this curriculum - there are formative assessments that center on pre-production steps and completion, then summative assessments that are based off specific project rubrics (included with each resource).

A Video Production Scope & Sequence (2nd 9 Weeks) is included in the Bonus File section of this resource.

What content is included in this bundle?

How do I use this most effectively?

You will be receiving over 150 presentation slides, 27 pages of editable lesson plans, 43 pages of student project guides and 19 pages of supplemental materials (project rubrics, planning guides, additional activities).

I encourage you to click the specific unit resources included in this bundle to get a much better idea of the overall look of all of the products, presentations and content.

What materials are needed to teach this curriculum?

Students need access to a camera, tripod, microphone and editing software. Each unit/lesson plan notes additional materials needed by the instructor. This varies depending on the unit, but is designed for the video teacher with minimal materials and budget, so the majority of the supplies needed can be purchased on Amazon or at Walmart.

What types of files are included?

The student project guides and supplemental materials are secured PDFs, meaning you can print them but not edit or copy/paste the text. This is to protect the formatting, copyright and intellectual property of my own work. Editable versions are only included for the instructor's lesson plans and PowerPoint format presentations. I include multiple formats for the presentations (PowerPoint, PDF, JPG) so they work seamlessly for different platforms. If you have questions about this, please don’t hesitate to email me with them prior to purchasing.

What if I have a question or problem?
