Description

Engage your preschoolers and kindergarteners with this no-prep mini-unit on Veterans Day.

These activities were created to help you teach your little ones about Veterans Day. Through these skill pages, your students will get an introduction to why we celebrate Veterans Day, the five branches of the military, and important symbols used to remember and honor those who have served in the armed forces.

This resource includes:

  • Veterans Day Vocabulary Cards (in color)
  • Veterans Day Vocabulary Cards (in black and white)
  • Veterans Day Vocabulary (coloring and matching)
  • V is for Veteran (fill in the circles with a dot marker/bingo dauber, pom-poms, beans, etc. and tracing)
  • Veterans Day Counting (coloring and counting objects)
  • The Poppy (coloring and tracing)
  • Branches of the Military (tracing numbers and number words, coloring)
  • Veterans Day Patterns (completing a pattern, coloring)
