Need some easy test prep for word study for the Reading SOL in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade? You have come to the right place. This file contains 20 slides that can easily be displayed using a projector or on a SmartBoard. You, or students, can drag the highlighted box to the words that answer the question.
If your kids are always stopping at one answer, when you know there should be more, this may help. Each slide has multiple answers.
I used question stems from released SOLs to write questions in ways they may appear on the test.
I've included a student answer sheet (if you'd like to use it) that shows which categories your students really need to work on if you use an answer sheet and grade it.
But, of course, it may also be used outside of test prep.
If you print it out slide by slide, they may be used as a scoot or task cards.
