United States History Fun Rhymes

For students, teachers of U.S. History (pre-colonial through Columbian Exchange), this compilation of rhymes has been created as a FUN review, supplement, or study guide to classroom discussion/presentation. Parenthetical content is provided throughout the rhymes for additional focus and/or instruction as necessary. Rhymes are provided in two-sentence stanzas, with a key person, place, event, or concept ending the same for emphasis/focus. I have composed additional verses for objectives covering U.S. History through Reconstruction. My sophomore Honors classes have come to expect and enjoy "rhyme time" as we end our daily routine. Many students have cited their help as they prepared for the Advanced Placement U.S. History exam.
