Description

What is artificial intelligence?

Artificial intelligence, also called AI, is an incredible technology that will change many ways we work and live. This lesson plan was created to teach elementary school children the basics of what AI is as well as showing a few of its capabilities. These lessons were created to make children think and not just memorize definitions. By working through the worksheets and activities children will slowly gain knowledge of how AI processes information.

This download includes:

Detailed Lesson Plans - Including discussion questions, definitions, and activity suggestions. (3 pages)

Worksheets - about various AI topics which can be done either as homework or together in class. (3 pages)

  • How AI “Thinks”
  • How AI “Draws”
  • AI at Work

Extra Art activities and ideas!

Plus a list of important definitions.

These lessons can be done with grades 1-2 but are geared most towards grades 3-6 as children will need to be able to read and understand a few abstract terms.
