Description

This fun and engaging game is a great way for students to learn about famous US landmarks. In each round, students are shown a portion of a photo of a landmark. They then listen to three clues and must try to identify the landmark. The game includes 10 rounds, each with a different landmark around the United States of America.

How to Play: Mystery Photo Game

  1. Open this presentation. Review the clues, editing any you wish to change.
  2. If playing in your classroom, project this game. If playing on an online learning platform, such as Zoom™ or Google Meet™, share your screen and present.
  3. Show the first slide and ask for ideas- what could the mystery photo be?
  4. Progress through the slides, reading the clues and eliciting predictions from students.
  5. Reveal the answer slide. 
  6. Revisit the clues to discuss any new vocabulary or information.
  7. Repeat steps 3-6!
