Looking for an activity to teach United States imperialism? Introduce or summarize the Age of U.S. Imperialism with this stations set. Students explore the meaning of imperialism, arguments for and against imperialism, and the effects of imperialism. Activity includes 15 stations on imperialism. Topics include:

- Brief look into U.S. imperialism in Cuba, the Philippines, Hawaii, and China
- Effects of imperialism on culture and economies

I use this activity with U.S. history students in 10th and 11th grade before we take a deep dive into the Spanish-American War and the age of U.S. imperialism.
