US History: Mexican American War Reading and Pair Share Q&A

While students often groan and moan over their reading assignments, this activity makes it a bit more engaging and allows for some social opportunity as well. Students are to read the article and then create questions from said reading for their partner. Students will then switch papers and answer each other's questions. Finally, students will take their paper back and mark whether or not their peer's answers were correct. They read, they create, they critique, and then they grade - what more could you want?
