U.S. Constitution: DIGITAL and INTERACTIVE Unit

Use: Use this digital resource to teach the development of the U.S. Constitution. The unit begins with an analysis of the Articles of Confederation and ends with the Bill of Rights.

All topics include deep exploration and analysis of:

- Strengths and weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation

- Causes and effects of Shays' Rebellion

- Main points of the U.S. Constitution, including the Great Compromise, limited government, checks and balances, and Three-Fifths Compromise

- Beliefs and roles of Anti-Federalists, Federalists, Federalist Papers, and Bill of Rights

Distribution:

To distribute this notebook to students for digital use:

1. Share the presentation with them via Google Drive or share link. 
2. Instruct students to make a copy of the presentation. This will allow them to use the slides to answer questions, complete charts, etc. 

*When you share the presentation, make sure your share settings are on “View Only”.

**Before sharing, I suggest you make your own new copy and share that one with students. This will allow you to delete these teacher notes as well as answer keys.

***You can also down as a Microsoft Powerpoint and share it with them via Sharepoint if this is the platform your school uses. Still follow step 2.

1. Download as a PDF and upload to your LMS.
2. Download as a PDF and print desired slides.
