What educators are saying

My students loved the routine of this product. They knew what they were expected to do and easily completed the activities. I was able to find some hands on activities that reinforced what this bundle taught.

    Description

Why this is better than any other US History Curriculum on TpT:

    - What you WILL NOT find from any other seller on TpT.... recorded videos for EACH LESSON for the ENTIRE curriculum that follows the included PowerPoints/Notes EXACTLY. The videos are optional, but can be used to teach the curriculum for you in class, used for student absences, quarantines, virtual students or sub plans (!!!), or just to help you brush up on topics that may be new to you. There are MANY ways to use these UNIQUE additions to these resources... (See links to the videos at the bottom of this description)

    - This is 'Turn-Key' Curriculum. Everything is here. Already completed in perfect form and ready to go. There is no textbook or ANY resource needed outside of what is bundled here. This is a 100% stand alone curriculum that requires NO other academic purchases.

    - Due to built in differentiation throughout, this curriculum can be used for 7th grades or AP US History, and everything in between!

    - All resources are sold here in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) format, but if you don't have Microsoft Office, you can drag them into Google Drive upon downloading them and convert them to Google Docs/Google Slides and they merge perfectly and are 100% editable by you after purchase.

    - This is NOT a pay as you go, or "I'll update later" bundle of resources that will leave you with gaps in a curriculum as the seller tries to develop something they already sold you... this is 16 years of completed experience ready to be used, with all aspects of US History covered in depth from a variety of angles.

    - The lesson plans basically write themselves... start with CNN10 (already set up in the Packet), do a lesson (use one of my included videos if you'd like) and finish up with a included writing assignment/worksheet, or viewing guide (included) each day.

-There are more assignments here than you could possibly in use in a single year, so there is no shortage of new things to try with your students. Each unit also comes with built-in I CAN STATEMENTS.

    - I am a teacher like you, not a company that mass produces curriculum designed to cut corners on content but look shiny in order to make a sell and leave you high and dry if you have questions! I am immediately available for any questions or concerns. I am 100% confident you will rate this 5 stars (and I truly hope you will!!!), but if it falls short of that to you for any reason, I will work tirelessly to make sure this exceeds your expectations. Unlike a corporation that views their resources as products instead of their life's commitment like I do here, I have an expectation that this will help you become the best US History teacher in your department.

-While this may appear expensive, if you compare this to any other seller, my content, both in quality and quantity, vastly exceeds that of comparable sellers, creating a higher value for the dollar here than you will find on any other seller's resources.

WHAT YOU GET: What EACH unit Contains (ALL Units are designed the exact same way)

PowerPoint has all the information needed to teach this unit. Strongly advised to combine this PowerPoint with the correlating Packet and Test for maximum effectiveness.

PowerPoint (typically around 80-90 slides each(Though some can have double that).... half of which are pictures... every bit of information needed is here)

Notes (Students do NOT copy off the PowerPoint... they have notes with the same information, but with CONCEPT questions on every slide they have to answer with two full sentences)

30 Vocabulary Words to define (ALL the vocabulary word definitions are in the notes, and all the vocabulary words are underlined.... I even give my kids a grade for going through and highlighting the vocabulary word and definition in the notes.... and a second grade for defining the vocabulary word on the designated page)

CNN10 Viewing Guide (We start class with CNN10 each day as a bell ringer..... students have to write down three topics they talk about and why it's significant... we discuss this as a class afterwards to get class started)

I CAN STATEMENTS (If your school district requires these, they are already done for you)

POSSIBLE ESSAY QUESTIONS (The students will write an essay on their tests, these are a list of the 5 POSSIBLE choices and the rubric they are to study for each.... honestly, for lower classes, I tell them in advance what their essay will be... it's easy to add or lower difficulty here based on the class)

PACKETS (The "I Can Statements", "CNN 10 Viewing Guide", "Vocabulary Words", "Notes", and "Possible Essay Questions" are already organized into a single document for the students)

VOCABULARY QUIZ (this is the 30 Word vocabulary quiz that goes along with the Unit. It has a word bank that goes along with it with two groups of 15.... the definitions are verbatim what is in the notes, and all the words are used, and they are used only once... and as an added bonus... I figured out how to effectively use a scan-tron to grade vocabulary quizzes which will be self-explanatory when you see it. KEY INCLUDED FOR EACH VOCAB QUIZ

MULTIPLE CHOICE TEST (The multiple choice portion has 50 questions. After the first unit, about 35% of the test questions are from previous tests.... the cumulative test questions drastically improve student's scores at the end of the semester) KEY INCLUDED FOR EACH TEST

COMPLETE TEST (This is my preferred method of testing.... this combines the Essay Question(s), Vocabulary Quiz and Multiple Choice Portion into one document. This is preferred in a Block (or 1.5 hour class) system. If you are on a 7 period day schedule it might be better to break it up for time constraints. KEYS INCLUDED

Test Correction Format/Worksheet (The day after the test, I always do test corrections.... since my tests are cumulative, they need to see the questions they missed... instructions are clear on the form how to do them... I typically give my standard students half credit back and my honors students just get an assignment grade for completion and no change to their test grade)

IN ADDITION TO ALL THAT, In this Bundle you will receive:
