Description

I am posting this resource to my TPT store.  For FREE!  I am posting this March 2020.  I want to do my little bit to help since some schools are closing because of COVID-19 (or coronavirus).  Now, I wouldn’t normally post this to my TPT because I feel that the quality isn’t the best but it may help out some teachers and students for distance learning.  If you are in need of these resources feel free to download.  If you review, please don’t be too harsh.  It was somewhat difficult for me to make these so I’m working on improving the quality.

This product comes with videos that I’ve made for my class and accompanied with guided notes.  This comes with a video and guided notes on Transformations for 8th grade or Pre-Algebra. Videos included an intro to transformations, translation, reflection, rotation, dilation (general) and dilating coordinates. Guided notes are included for every video. An answer key for the notes is not included. Please leave a review if you would like for me to post more videos with accompanied notes.

You can access the videos online via YouTube.

Verify experimentally the properties of rotations, reflections, and translations:
Lines are taken to lines, and line segments to line segments of the same length.
Angles are taken to angles of the same measure.
Parallel lines are taken to parallel lines.
Understand that a two-dimensional figure is congruent to another if the second can be obtained from the first by a sequence of rotations, reflections, and translations; given two congruent figures, describe a sequence that exhibits the congruence between them.
