Description

Too Many Carrots is an adorable book written by Katy Hudson. It tells the story of a rabbit who tries to take his carrots everywhere and wrecks all of his friends' homes in the process. At the end of the story, he realizes that carrots are for sharing!

This packet would be great for the beginning of the year to help establish the importance of sharing with your classmates! Of course, Easter and spring would be great times also to share this wonderful story.

Included in this packet:

**Two sequencing worksheets--one is sentence-strip style and is on two papers--one is a one-page, eight-square worksheet

**Sequencing cards to sequence the story together as a class

**Cause and Effect cut-and-paste worksheet

**Opinion Writing (both colored and black-and-white stationery) Was Rabbit a good friend?

**A Comprehension Check consisting of true/false and multiple-choice questions (12 questions in all)

**Letter Writing (both colored and black-and-white stationery) Write a letter to your favorite character in the story

**Suffix "less" cut-and-paste worksheet

**Adjectives that describe Rabbit
