What do you do in those first few minutes of class as everyone arrives and sits down ? I recite Tongue Twisters and my students love it.
This activity contains a 21 pages Power Point presentation with a collection of traditional tongue twisters to practice the pronunciation of the different sounds in Spanish.
How do I use them?
- We repeat them every day at the beginning of class.
- I use the same tongue twister for a week.
- Every day, I read it line by line like a poem and the students repeat. Then I read it two lines by two lines and the students repeat. To finish, I read the entire tongue twister at once and the students repeat.
 It’s an ideal icebreaker to start or to end the class in a fun way.
It can be used at any level of Spanish.
At the end of the presentation there is a pronunciation test .
