Tomb of the Pharaoh: Ancient Egypt Art Project - Google Slides!

In this project, students pretend they are an artist from Ancient Egypt who has been hired to complete artwork for the Pharaoh's tomb. Essential questions for the project are: What is the importance of mythology in a culture? What can we learn about a society from its art?

This product includes the project sheet with directions for the project, a 2 page planning chart for students to brainstorm ideas and plan their artwork, and the Artist Statement page where they will finally write about their tomb art and explain what it reflects about Ancient Egypt.

This can used as fun way to learn about tombs, pharaohs, mythology and art from Ancient Egypt, or as a final project for your Egypt unit to give students a creative option to show off what they've learned!
