What educators are saying
Thank you for this resource. I teach PLTW's IED and mainly use the old legacy curriculum--I feel that it lacks a bit in some areas and this resource is exactly what I was looking for to "fill in the blanks" where my curriculum lacks. Appreciate this resource and glad I found it!!
Description
This lesson explains what tolerances are, the different types that are commonly used in technical drawings, how to find or calculate a tolerance, and how to add tolerances to technical drawings in the CAD program Autodesk Inventor.
This is an introductory lesson that is perfect for students who already understand the basics of dimensioning. My pre-recorded video lesson is also included in the slideshow, which explains each slide along the way with a little more detail. The info about tolerances in CAD is shown only in the video lesson.
