Description
Titanic Digital STEM activities includes three activities for students to complete digitally! NO prep for teachers and no need for STEM materials. These activities are perfect to add to your Titanic unit. Students will complete one or all of these activities which include a Stop Motion activity of the Titanic’s Route, Recreate the Titanic First Class Dinner Menu, and create a digital model of the Titanic. The Stop Motion includes a How-To-Create a Stop Motion Video, the Titanic Menu includes 100% editable student directions (students are expected to have working knowledge of Google Docs as the directions are NOT step-by-step but a guideline). The digital model of the Titanic includes direction slides, Titanic images to recreate the model and completed student examples. I taught this as Digital STEM choice board for grades 6-8 and have included the Google Slides introduction presentation. Since the directions are editable, activities are very versatile for students in grades 4-8.
With so many schools dropping formal Computer and Technology classes, it is up to the homeroom, library/media, and or STEM (if STEM is offered) teacher to teach Computers and Technology. For this reason, I have been creating more Computer Skills activities which can also be considered digital STEM resources.
