Tissue Box Transformation Project - ALL Transformations!

Do you want a project that assesses students knowledge on transformations AND helps provide tissues for your classroom?! Here it is!

Students create the same picture or design in quadrant 1 on all four graphs, and then transform their image four different ways. There are TWO VERSIONS that could be used for differentiation in your class!

BOTH VERSIONS INCLUDE:

- a translation vector

- a dilation with a scale factor

VERSION A INCLUDES: (easier)

- a y-axis reflection

- a rotation 180 degrees

VERSION B INCLUDES: (harder)

- a reflection over y = -x

- a rotation 90 degrees CCW

I have used this as an extra credit activity also! This project allows you to enjoys transformations throughout the year on your tissue boxes!
