What educators are saying

Time lines can be so hard for first graders to understand. This helps to make it accessible and builds on their background knowledge. My students love it.
I love the options in this and I used one to model and explain to the kids and then they were able to do one of their own.

Description

Looking for a way to introduce and create a timeline with your kindergarten and first grade students? Why not use events in the school day to teach this concept! This resource gives you 2 different, simplistic timelines. Students will think about their school day and then place them on the timeline in chronological order.

This resources gives you two timelines and the following events are included; which are generally part of most school days.

TIMELINE EVENTS #1:

We eat lunch.

We read with the teacher.

We put our backpack away.

We go outside and play.

TIMELINE EVENTS #2:

We go to recess.

We do work at our table.

We line up to go home.

We go to specials.

Also included are two differentiate timeline boards one marked with the numerals 1,2,3,4 and one without.

**This is a basic example of a timeline and should be ordered/created/constructed based upon your schedule.
