What educators are saying

Such a thorough resource. Lots of great information and videos. My students had a lot of fun learning about and discussing Tim Burton and his work, then creating in his style. All very successful! A resource that needs no extra work before presenting to students!
My students loved this so much!!! Like every one of my students. That’s 4 Art 1 classes, an Art 4 student, and a graphics design class!! Thank you for making this easy to teach!

Description

This product is everything you need for a 1-2 week long art project! Students will learn about Tim Burton, brainstorm ways to represent their own identities through art, and practice showing value through shading.

The PDF includes a link to a student inquiry packet with Tim Burton background questions, a compare and contrast activity, and guiding questions prompting students to explore ways they can represent themselves through the style of Tim Burton.

The PDF also includes a link to the student-facing Google Slide presentation with links to background videos, a video demo, guiding questions and student examples.

This is one of my middle schoolers' favorite projects. I know your students will enjoy it as well!
