Description
Some of my all-time favorites are the "Old Lady" books! This lesson is a PowerPoint presentation that has the old lady "eat" the items when clicked. You can use this lesson as a visual as you read the book and advance it yourself, or have students come up and click to make the old lady eat.
Included is a pdf activity to feed the old lady. You can cut out the old lady and glue her to a paper bag or cardboard box. Then have students feed the pictures provided as you read the story. You could also use the pictures for an adapted book. I print on cardstock and laminate for durability. You could also use the pictures provided with popsicle sticks to have students hold up the item as you read the story. There are many fun uses for this activity.
There is also a black and white version of the old lady and the pictures for you to use however you wish and to save on colored ink.
