    The History of the Theatre - Part One! is a funny drama script which explores the origins and development of theatre from its very beginning right up to William Shakespeare! Two Narrators lead the audience through a journey of discovery and students who study this play will learn about theater writers, practitioners, movers and shakers from all over the world - in a fun way. Although the script is easy to read and very easy to to perform, this drama script has a lot of potential for additional creative impact through imaginative movement, costume and good use of comedy timing!

    This stage script unit contains full production notes with great guidance, instructions and ideas for

    • costumes
    • props and furniture
    • lighting
    • make-up
    • sound and music
    • set and staging for the play.

    At the back of the script unit is a section of follow-on activities for students to work on in the classroom or drama studio. These include tasks linked to

    • characters
    • theme
    • script layout
    • performance-related tasks.

    The Multi Performance License included in this bundle gives your class, school, college, or company permission to perform the play up to 3 times to any internal or external audience, in real life or online, paying or non-paying.
