Royalty free, 9 page reader’s theater script of The Water Ghost of Harrowby Hall divide into 16 scenes (plus directions for teaching with the jigsaw method). Can the heir of a haunted house break a century old curse or will he succumb to the ghost's watery visits? More comedy than horror, this ghost story highlights how ingenuity and out of the box thinking solves problems.
Roles for 4 male, 3 female, 1 either and as many extras as desired to round out the final scene. Stage directions are also included so script can be used for a performance. Run time is 18-20 minutes after rehearsal.
Also included are projects and prompts that can be used as assignments, bell ringers or exit tickets, and a readers theater rubric. The prompts will provoke critical thinking and cover many ELA and Theater Arts standards.
