Description

This easy to read, one page passage explains the steps to the scientific method including:

  • make an observation
  • ask a question
  • form a hypothesis
  • conduct an experiment
  • draw a conclusion

The passage comes with 10 multiple choice reading comprehension questions, an answer key, and 2 self-scoring digital versions - EASEL and Google Forms. Color and black line illustrations are included to accommodate black and white printing.

It also has a companion YouTube video. Show the video before or after reading the passage to increase student comprehension. It provides a great modification for students who need a read aloud option.
