The Purple Series - World Alzheimer's Month (Volume 3)

This third set can be used along with previous sets to add more variety to this work. Although there is no official purple series in the Montessori Curriculum, I chose the color purple because it is the official color of the Alzheimer’s movement.

I created this work to bring awareness to World Alzheimer’s Month in September and honor my grandmother who passed away from the disease.

As this material is meant for both individuals with various forms of dementia and children, I adapted the 3-Part Card format to include the following features:

(1) Extra large print lettering with images set against a white background for clarity.

(2) Nostalgic Images: My hope is that this work can be used to spark memories and conversation between individuals with dementia and children. As they work together, they can engage in meaningful connection.

(3) Please print, cut, and laminate these cards so that they will last you a long time!
