Description

This mentor text read aloud unit uses the picture book The Oldest Student How Mary Walker Learned to Read by Rita Lorraine Hubbard. This cross curricular unit includes five days of reading, writing, and social studies activities based on this diverse picture book. It is available in both print and digital Google Slides, so it is perfect for classroom and distance learning.
