This bundle contains The OCD part of me, Activities 1-10 (part 1) and The OCD part of me, (part 2) Activities 11-16.
Activities 1-16 are based on the latest research in mindfulness, meditation, and cognitive-behavioral approaches. (for obsessive-compulsive disorder)
Part 2 is new, and contains topics like: What can a student do when they experience OCD, and their day is stressful? (For example, a student might have a difficult test at school, or a fight with their best friend. What can they do, next?) How can young learners remain kind to themselves while experiencing OCD symptoms, and how can they reach out for help, from friends and adults?
The next new topic, (in part 2) helps students learn how to process obsessions and compulsions. By doing this work, students can begin to change the way their brains function, in positive and wonderful ways! :)
Last, you might ask, "How do I use this resource?"
Answer: It's written to be understood by students, and the activities are meant to be facilitated by counselors, teachers, and parents. (I recommend that the student completes 1 or 2 activities a week. The important thing, though, is that students know they have a lot of time to go through each activity.)
