This was the perfect way to be able to play a movie in class, but also make it educational. Just what I was looking for.

Description

This resource is intended for an upper elementary or middle school audience and contains 3 pre-viewing discussion questions, 4 questions to answer during the video and 3 post-viewing discussion questions.

Great resource to use on Earth Day or as part of an environmental unit!

The 1972 film version of "The Lorax" can easily be found for free online (check youtube!)

To give you an idea of the resource, here are a few of the questions:

Pre- In your opinion, whose responsibility is it to take care of the Earth?
During- At what point does the Once-ler start to question whether he was doing the right thing?
Post- What can a “kneed” represent in our society?
