Description

The Lion That Had Bad Breath is a high-interest Reader's Theatre script--or Reader's Theater script--for 1st through 3rd grades, although I have done it with 4th graders, as well. One of Aesop's fables for kids, it's a great script for students who are a bit older but are behind grade level in reading. Students enjoy the antics of the prideful Lion and the canny Fox!

This resource includes two copies of the script based on Aesop's fables, one with colored text and one with typical black text, to give teachers printing options.
