Description

47 slides of interactive content to engage students for in-class instruction or distant learning that is visually engaging for students and challenges them to take notes, create content, and analyze a variety of different poems. Using a superhero theme to create added engagement, this presentation is meant to bring poetry to life for those who may view it as a stuffy, boring venture. Within the presentation, students will investigate the following: reading a poem, figurative language, imagery, tone, speaker, and sound. Each of these poetic elements are broken down in a way where the students will see examples and then create their own content as well.
