What educators are saying

This is a great movie for product placement & the questions were good! I always change a few things to make it fit more to my class, but this is a great document that covers the important pieces of the movie :)
Great worksheet. Really helped in a bind when a last minute sub day popped up but I wanted to show this movie during our marketing class.

Description

This is a handout package I gave to my media students when we watched the documentary The Greatest Movie Ever Sold. It comes with its own rubric.

Note: I teach in Ontario and for media studies, I follow the strands outlined in the curriculum.

Prior to them watching the movie, I showed them Morgan Spurlock's TED talk which the first few questions touch upon. I found that it helps students get a sense of what the documentary will be about. Here's the URL for the TED Talk:

It's a great movie about the media and product placement! I would recommend watching it even if it's only for your own personal interest. :)
