The Great Kapok Tree - Interdependence in the Rain Forest

This is a comprehensive lesson plan to teach interdependence among organisms in the rainforest. It utilizes Lynne Cherry's picture book The Great Kapok Tree as a read aloud, and includes all materials for the lesson and assessments. There is a writing and reading component built-in, and the entire lesson, including assessments, differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all of your learners.
