The Excel Helicopter Game

This activity is for all student levels. It allows all students the opportunity to dive into, while sharpening their skills for Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and the Internet. Students will also do Basic Math Computations, and learn how to do Math for Comparison Percentage Differences.

This is a 7-Part, Step by Step instructions, explaining the Helicopter Game Survey, Excel Spreadsheet Charts, the Basic Math Computations as well as Percentage Difference Calculations.

Excel chart creations are made easy and an extra worksheet for Percentage Difference Calculations for practice, is included.

As with most software programs, it is important to understand the terms and features, which is included.

Optional Digital Learning Games websites adapted for any subject area is included.

Activity List

1. Students fill in a Microsoft Word Survey using a Digital Learning Game (Optional), along with Basic and Intermediate Math Calculations.

2. Basic Math Computations: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division

3. Intermediate Math Computations: Percentage Difference (Instructions Included)

4. Students will then transfer their Microsoft Word results into an Excel Survey.

5. Then Students will create 3 charts from their overall results.
