Description

Some time between 10,000 - 12,000 years ago, humanity made the monumental shift from a lifestyle based on nomadic hunting to one based on sedentary cultivation. But what historical factors led to this shift, and what were its consequences?

Featuring such anthropological heavyweights as Olduvai Gorge, the "New Stone Age," Animism and Richard Leakey, this worksheet contains two parts. Part I focuses more on the world before the Agricultural Revolution, while Part II devotes itself to the Revolution's implications and long-term consequences.

Perfect as an in-class activity, take-home assignment or review sheet!
