Description

The Constitution was designed to be a living document. If it was to survive for generations, the founding fathers knew that there needed to be a way for it to grow and change with future generations. Give your students the opportunity to see how the constitution is changed and let them analyze some of the most important amendments to the Constitution with this great activity. Digital and Paper Copies Included!

This "The Constitution- The Amendment Process" Distance Learning Activity includes:

Students will first take a look at what an amendment is and its key components. Next, students will analyze the amendment process and students will get to see all 4 methods of amending the constitution. Finally, students will examine the 14th, 18th, 19th, 21st Amendments to see their impact on the United States. Questions guide student understanding. Finally students will complete a Bill of Rights Chart.
